Get a circular coin and see who can land the coin closest to a marker or flat surface
How many times did it take to get onto the surface?
What type of coin is easiest to roll?
Is it harder the further away the target is?
Maybe try flipping the coin instead.

Try and throw an object into an empty box or area
Have 20 goes – how successful are you?
Can you play against family members and see who gets the object in the most?

Kick or roll an object until it hits or gets closest to the marker

Speed Jump: • How many times can you jump from side to side in a minute (60 seconds)? • Jump over a line, a small object, a larger object when you’re more confident • But be careful, it’s tiring!

Round the Clock: • How many times can you get the ball around your torso (tummy) in 30 seconds? • How many can you do round your legs? • How many can you do in a relay with someone from your household?

Race across the river: • Only stand on two flat objects to ‘cross the river’ – a start and finish point • Make it easier with more flat objects if needed • Can you get your whole family across? • Did you do better than me?
Quick Start: • How fast can you react to positions around your house or garden? • Ask someone else to shout go or blow a whistle • How many can you do in a minute? • Can you make the end points further away? • Can you give yourself different tasks to do at each end point e.g. sit ups, star jumps etc.?
Keepy Ups: • Keep an object or ball up in the air – how many can you do in 60 seconds? • What is your highest score? • How many can you do with different objects and/or equipment? • How many can you do without any equipment – just using your hands, feet or even head!
Body Parts: • Get an object from one point to another using different parts of your body – but you can only use each part of your body once • Who is the quickest? • Who can go the furthest? • Who can use the most different body parts?
