Year 1
Year 1 really enjoyed their visit to Misterton library this week.
Spring has sprung at Misterton and we loved our walk exploring spring including looking at the huge buds on the tree we adopted at the start of Year 1
This week we have been working in groups, pairs and on our own to create freeze frames of the Big Bad Owl to help us write about the characters' feelings and speech.
As part of our learning about the Big Bad Owl story we made Happy Hats, shared what makes us happy and then wrote about it in our books.
In Year 1 we have this gorgeous Reading Area which children love to use throughout the day.
Year 1 have adopted a tree in the school grounds, which they will visit each season and observe how it changes.
