Year 3
We worked really hard to successfully make pneumatic lifts- with lots of help from our Growth Mindsets!
In science we have all made a home for our beans and we are keeping a diary to record their growth. We are hoping to plant these in the sensory garden when they are established.
We had some time recently to enjoy the sensory garden and identify new signs of life.
The Pebble in my Pocket took us on an adventure as far back as 480 million years ago. Year 3 enjoyed having their own pebble to look after over three weeks. It really helped our imagination as we dared to ask the question "Where did the pebble in my pocket begin its journey?" After researching how fossils are made, we decided we could create our own using salt dough.
Our Geography has taken us on an adventure along the River Trent.
Year 3 loved their magic bubbles in 10 minute science. We had to use our growth mindset as it was difficult to know how big they could go without popping them.
Y3 really enjoy their 10 minute Science sessions!
